IMI Heimeier was founded in Germany in 1928 and makes thermostatic heads that keep rooms at the right temperature with the least energy. All heads in the range have frost protection and an M30×1.5 connection.
The heads
- K: the most complete range, with 6–28 °C, 0–28 °C and 15–35 °C versions. External and hidden stops for limiting or locking, tactile markings for visually impaired users, versions that fit Danfoss and Vaillant valves directly, in black or grey.
- DX: small and compact, with a liquid-filled sensor and a smooth surface, for tight spaces and hygiene-sensitive areas. Fits Herz and TA valves directly.
- HALO: slim, cylindrical and seamless, in white or chrome.
- Halo-B: rugged and tamper-resistant, for demanding areas. Hidden lock, bending strength up to 1,000 N, set only with a special key, range 8–26 °C.
- F: with a remote sensor, for radiators that are covered or under the floor. Fits a flush-mounted electrical box.
- WK: for radiators with integrated valves, on either side.
Thermoelectric actuators
- EMO-T II: on/off or PWM, for small valves such as TBV-C and TA-Nano.
- EMO-TM II: modulating control, for valves such as TA-Modulator, TBV-CM and TA-Nano. Adapts automatically to the valve stroke.
- EMOtec II: compact, for underfloor heating manifolds such as Dynacon Eclipse.
EMO-T II and EMO-TM II have been tested with all IMI valves up to 150,000 cycles, are rated IP54, have a position indicator visible from all sides and low power consumption.
