The IMI Heimeier thermostatic valve range covers three types: valves with automatic flow control (AFC), valves with presetting and valves without presetting. All have the standard M30×1.5 head connection, and bodies marked II+ accept interchangeable inserts. The range suits new installations and renovations alike.
How AFC works
On Eclipse valves the required flow is set directly on the numbered scale, with the setting key or an 11 mm spanner. If the flow rises, for example when neighbouring radiators close or the system starts up in the morning, a sleeve moves and limits it to the set value. When the flow drops, a spring returns it. No complex presetting calculations are needed.
Benefits for installers
- Flow is set according to the heat output the radiator needs. Commissioning by radiator or by section.
- The insert can be replaced or tested with the system under pressure.
- For two-pipe systems and differential pressures up to 60 kPa. Ideal for renovations where system details, such as pipe lengths, are unknown.
The range at a glance
- Eclipse: 10–150 l/h, also in a reversed-flow version. Standard II+ bodies accept an Eclipse insert.
- Eclipse 300: 30–300 l/h, for higher outputs and lower temperature differences.
- Multilux 4-Eclipse with HALO head and Multilux V Eclipse: for radiators with bottom connection, such as towel rails.
- Dynacon Eclipse: underfloor heating manifold with 2–12 circuits, automatic balancing and a flow indicator per circuit.
- Multibox Eclipse and RTL Eclipse: single-circuit underfloor control and return temperature limiter for areas up to 15 m².
- V-exact II (bronze) and Calypso-exact (brass): valves with continuous, precise presetting.
