In many modern office buildings the same terminal unit, for example a radiant ceiling, heats in winter and cools in summer, supplied by a 4-pipe system. Until now the changeover needed several valves and actuators. The new TA-Sixline from IMI TA does the whole job with one body.
Key features
- Compact linear 6-way valve for heating/cooling changeover.
- Flow range 30–560 l/h.
- Linear characteristic for precise, stable control in every position.
- No complex selection, no Kv inserts, no extra valve or actuator.
- Works with the TA-Slider 200 actuator.
Two versions
| TA-Sixline | Control valve with stroke limitation, so heating and cooling Kv are set separately. Needs a Δp controller or manual balancing valves. |
|---|---|
| TA-Sixline PI | Pressure-independent, with built-in measuring points for precise flow limitation. |
The main application is radiant ceilings in commercial and office buildings.
