Kemper has revised its range for measuring water consumption in buildings: the water meter sets (Wasserzählerstrecken) and water meter mounting blocks (Wasserzählermontageblöcke). The aim is fewer codes covering more situations.

Fewer versions

  • Two offsets, 120 mm and 65 mm, for the usual installation situations.
  • Two operating tops (handle or utility-authority type) that fit all meter sets, mounting blocks and concealed valves.
  • New brackets for installation in masonry, in a frame or in a pre-wall system.
  • The mounting blocks can also be split into two separate monoblocks.

Hygiene and safety

  • The wetted metal parts are corrosion-resistant red brass, cast in Kemper's own foundry.
  • A dead-leg-free design, so no water stands still.
  • Integrated leak detection: if a meter seal fails, the escaping water is visible straight away.
  • A new EPS insulation shell with fire class B1, better than the earlier polyurethane versions.
