Kemper extends its ThermoSystem KTS range with the KTS (S) PRO fresh water station, a compact station for buildings with lower hot water draw-off rates. It can be used in new builds or renovations, for example after legionella has been found in the hot water.
Key features
- Maximum draw-off of 42 l/min at 60 °C, with an 80 °C flow temperature.
- Wall-mounted or fitted directly on the KTS ThermoTank buffer tank.
- Self-learning controller with building management system (BMS) connection, integrated sensors and a data logger. It keeps the outlet temperature constant and manages the pumps automatically.
- An optimisation function lowers the flow temperature to save energy.
- Hot and cold sections are separated, limiting heat transfer into the cold water.
Design and commissioning
Sizing is done with the KTS web tool in line with the standards, and a guided assistant takes the installer through setup step by step. The heat source can be a heat pump, district heating, gas or solar. The station is one of the connected Kemper PRO products.
