IMI has received the EcoVadis Gold Medal after a marked improvement in its sustainability score. The Gold Medal places the company in the top 5% of companies assessed by EcoVadis in the last 12 months.
What EcoVadis assesses
EcoVadis is an independent sustainability rating organisation. It looks at four themes:
- Environment.
- Labour and human rights.
- Ethics.
- Sustainable procurement.
Why it matters
More and more building owners, contractors and public bodies ask their suppliers for sustainability evidence. The award adds to IMI's Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and gives customers independent confirmation of how the company operates.
